Information

The DH Range feature a double hole to enable the safe practice of using two bars to operate stubborn valves that require a greater force than can be effectively achieved by one person. When used with the VM bar which incorporates a safety stop to prevent the bar slipping out of the hole, the risk of injury to the operator is significantly reduced. Valve keys can be supplied in either standard length 1m or 1.5m.

DH Valve keys can be supplied to suit the following valves:

Standard 1 3/8” square Suitable for valves on pipe sizes 2”-12” (50-300mm)

Jumbo 42mm square Suitable for valves on pipe sizes 12”-18” (350-450mm)

Euro 50mm square Suitable for valves on pipe sizes 24”+ (600mm+)

1 metre length bars that feature a stop end to prevent the bar slipping out of the valve key can be supplied to suit this type of valve key (Part No. 11746)

To optimise the use of the DH valve key it is recommended that two bars are used.
