The CAT4 is designed to identify buried utilities much faster and is the perfect locator in the industry to get the results you want. Its digital platform delivers highly refined locate capabilities, specifically designed to help you find more buried utilities. The CAT4 Avoidance Mode lets the user check an intended excavation area for Power, Radio and Genny signals, which recognises located utilities in a single scan.

To further enhance the locator's performance, put it together with the Genny4 in Genny mode and make your task much easier and quicker when detecting. A cable avoidance tool is quick and simple to use which could potentially prevent any costly or fatal incidents occurring.

Other options include CAT4+ which has Depth as well as Strike Alert as opposed to the CAT4 which has Strike Alert only. To compliment the range there is a gCAT4+ which has Data Logging, GPS, Depth, Strike Alert, Swing and CalSafe.
