The DFGDSRT Digital Flow Gauge kit is designed to provide the ability to measure not only flow rates from the hydrant but also provides the capability of measuring static pressure, dynamic (running) pressure as well as residual pressure.

The kit comprises of the following:

• Digital Flow Gauge
• Dynamic Pressure adaptor
• Gate Valve assembly
• Digital Static assembly
• Carry case with foam inlay

The kit has been designed to meet the needs of hydrant testers who are being tasked by their clients increasing demands to provide dynamic (running) pressure readings as well as static pressure readings and flow rates.

The set up to achieve the above requirements is achieved by simply connecting the dynamic pressure adaptor (with digital pressure gauge) to the outlet of the standpipe and in turn connect the flow gauge followed by the gate valve in series.

When in use with the gate valve fully open the dynamic pressure can be read in addition to the flow rate. Closing the gate will enable the static pressure to be taken.

The kit also includes a digital static assembly to enable the residual pressure to be taken from an adjacent hydrant standpipe.

The kit can be supplied without the gate valve assembly (Part No. DFGDSRT1)  for those wishing to use the static assembly as opposed to the gate valve to check the static pressure.
