Information

The Water Level Meter is an easy-to-use precision instrument for measuring depth from a fixed position to the surface of a body of water. Its main elements are a probe/sensor, a graduated tape, a reel assembly, and a cover plate incorporating circuit board, battery, test/indicator selector, and sensitivity switch.

Description

The thin sensor allows for access through small bolt holes. The probe design reduces the chances of erroneous readings due to cascading water, and cannot become clogged with dirt or foam.

The sensitivity switch allows for variable water conditions, such as foam, or cascading water.

The reel is very durable, and virtually unbreakable. A brake on the back of the reel allows the reel to be locked in position.

The tape is marked in metres, centimetres and millimetres.

The unit is powered by one nine volt battery which is easy to access from the front of the reel.
