Valve Extension Spindles for Underground Hydrant Valves

Euro (42mm) combinations

Manufactured in a range of sizes to fit underground hydrants.

Designed to fit onto the hydrant valve false top and secured into position using the pinch bolt.

The fitting of these extension spindles extends the working height of the hydrant valve allowing the valve to be operated using a Standard 35mm valve key or Euro 42mm valve key.

Valve extension spindles can be supplied in various lengths. Both Euro (42mm) socket to Standard (35mm) male top and Euro (42mm) socket to Euro (42mm) male top are listed below:

Please note the sizes stated are overall length and it should be remembered that when fitted to the hydrant valve approximately 1 ½” is lost from the overall height due to the spindle fitting over the taper of the valve top.
